Most orders are processed and shipped same day. Orders placed on Friday after 3pm, Saturday, or Sunday are processed on Monday. Processing and shipping does not take place on weekends or holidays.
Within the continental United States (the contiguous 48 states), Shipping is FREE to customers on orders over $49. Orders being shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, APO's, FPO's and DPO's are not eligible for free shipping. Also, the free shipping policy does not apply to large or heavy items that require special shipping methods such as assembled industrial sewing machines and some sewing cabinets.

6 Hands-on Sewing Lessons From an Expert!
Class Description:
Beginning sewing lessons for adults. Students will learn basic sewing skills, including how to use a sewing machine, serger and iron (yes, iron! There is a difference between pressing and ironing!) Learn about the types of fabrics available today and their uses, as well as which tools you need and how to use them. We will learn how to read and follow a sewing pattern. By the end of the 6 sessions, you will be able to confidently choose the correct fabrics, thread, needles and other supplies for your project. We will make a zippered notions bag , a cute tote bag and if time allows, pajama bottoms.
Class Suppy List:
- Sewing Machine in good working order with all of its accessories.
- Bobbins for your sewing machines or prewound bobbins at Sewing Machines Plus
- General Sewing Supplies:
- Thread Snippers (small scissors for snipping machine thread)
- Fabric Scissors (these just need to be sharp, not dull)
- Thread for piecing
- Seam Ripper (must be sharp, I recommend “Clover” brand)
- Straight Pins
- Pin cushion or magnet pin catcher
- Sewing machine needles
- Tape measure
- Seam Gauge

Class Registration Procedures
You can register for any class in the store. If you are paying by credit card, you can register by mail or phone (7607398222 or 8004018151). The registration fee for the class must be received to reserve your space. Most classes have a minimum number of students to run. If we do not meet the minimum number of students for the class three (3) days prior to the class, we will notify you that the class is cancelled. If your class is not held for any reason, you may transfer to another class or receive a refund. You may cancel for a full refund up to four days prior to the class. No refunds can be given within three days prior to a class.
