“Great buy”

“I used the extension to reduce my 8ft frame down to 6 ft. Works best for my space and the size quilts that I sew.”

Instructions not included

“Could have used tips for adding the extension. The ones on HQ website don’t deal with the actual addition process. Important to know where to deconstruct the existing frame, etc.”

Extending my loft frame
April 23, 2024 by Alicia A. (United States)
“I needed to extend my frame. The process for me was riddled with not enough space to maneuver as I put it together but I got it done, by myself. Downside is that the stationary bar sits on the machine bed but it lifts a little as you tighten your quilt. Also the buttons that connect the bars together are a pain. If they are not facing up they stop the machine from moving so I have to make sure they are up as I advance the quilt”

Fair product

“Product is easy to assemble, with good instructions. The quality is okay, except for the fact the added length makes the idler pole sag onto the machine. a longer center brace might make more sense.”

Not what I expected
December 20, 2021 by Chelsea (CO, United States)
“The extension makes the idler poles sag in the middle and drag on the bottom throat of the longarm. It’s also hard to get a good level that stays that way, with the extra leg in the middle. I returned mine”
