Felting Machines
Felting machines attach two fabrics together without using thread. A special barbed needle is used to attach unspun fleece or felt to a base fabric (usually wool, but can be any fabric).
Felting predates modern sewing, having been used over 2,000 years ago as the primary method of making clothes. The recent introduction of specialized machines relieves the tedium of felting by hand. Projects are completed faster and easier with embellishment machines.
