Blind Hemming

The Blind Hem Stitch Foot makes hemming your cuffs, dresses, blouses, pants, skirts, and drapes very easy. To make the blind hem, you must choose the correct stitch for your fabric.

Most common two machine stitches to choose from when making a blind hem

Blind Hemming

resrc_blind_hem 1. Raise presser foot.

2. Raise needle.

3. Turn power on
resrc_blind_hem_step1 4. Fold hem to wrong side.

5. Pin or baste in place.

6. Fold hem back as shown.
resrc_blind_hem_step2 7. Loosen screw (1) to install blindstitch guide.

8. Tighten screw. 
 
resrc_blind_hem_step3 9. Turn power on.

10. Place folded edge against blindstitch guide.

11. Sew, allowing wide stitches to enter edge of fold.
resrc_blind_hem_step4 12. Turn fabric to right side and press.
