About Catherine Wilson:

 Catherine Wilson

I have been a crafter my whole life, but didn't take up machine sewing until just after my 17th birthday. By the time I was 21, I had declared myself a quilter, and told my family I only sew flat things, and my quilting journey had begun. Fast forward 25 years, and I have been teaching quilting for the past 15 years. I am a Quilt in A Day Certified Instructor as well as a Judy Niemeyer Certified Instructor. I teach approximately 100 days a year, throughout California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah, with an occasional class in my native Tennessee. I love all types of quilting, however, most (but not all) of my classes are paper piecing based. I teach beginner and advanced techniques, as well as color theory, and design your own classes. People often ask my why I love paper piecing, and my answer is simple, I can get shapes that that are simply not possible in traditional piecing, and I can replicate them exactly every single time. I hope you will join me one day in class!
