Welcome to the first annual SMP Virtual Sew Fest!
I am so excited to offer our festival community a new artist showcase on our festival line-up roster! We have some great presenters and true industry rockstars on offer. Stay tuned and get your projects ready! It’s on!
We are excited to offer a 5-day festival of sewing. Our sew festival is a community offering in celebration of the artists and makers who practice this craft. We are hosting contests with popular vote awards of first and second placement prizes, Golden Scissors Awards. Throughout the contest we will be having giveaways and collecting email entries for a chance to win the Sew Fest 2021, Dream Studio Giveaway!

2. What is Sew Fest?
We will be live streaming our sewing celebration, for 5 days, for 7 ½ hours a day—after the open voting period closes!
Come back here or join us on Facebook or YouTube live, each day.
Our special guests will be showcasing sewing notions and equipment as well as answering some of the most asked questions about sewing; such as which needles and sewing machines to use! We will also take a deep dive into placement, editing designs, digitizing, creating projects, and much more! We will also discuss interesting sewing use and making a business with sewing.
3. What might I win?
The Peoples' choice, first and second place winners will each win an sewing winnings package! We will announce the Dream Studio Giveaway winner on the final day, along with other winners of the Sew Fest competition prizes.
4. What is the Dream Studio and who can enter to win it?
We will be giving away a Dream Home Studio to one lucky viewer. Anyone who submits an email to follow the contest will be automatically entered.
5. How big should my pictures be?
Pictures must be shot at high resolution + under 10 MB
6. What is the process for entering?
One can enter into both Home Decor contest and Garment contest. All project entries require 2 photographic submissions and an artist statement. Please make sure to submit the entry to the correct submission form with correct photo order.
