Arrow Sewing Harriet Sewing Cabinet (Ash White or Teak Available)

I like it very much but was disappointed I didn't receive the extra table that goes on the back of the cabinet.

I have limited space to sew. This is so compact and I am able to move it around easily. I was able to build it with just a screw driver. I was initially intimidated with installing the hydraulic system but the video walked me through it. You can also adjust the hydraulic system in order for your sewing machine to be flush with the tabletop. Very happy with my purchase.

I ordered the Harriet cabinet, the quilt leaf, and custom insert. I have assembled a lot of RTA furniture. Considering the price, the drawers and drawer glides are incredibly flimsy and cheap. Machine insert is great, making the machine level with the table. However, that height is 30 inches, definitely not comfortable machine height for me, and I am tall. Also, there isn't much room for my long legs, and it isn't the most comfortable when I try to push my chair all the way in. I am really not happy about the ergonomics of this table. I prefer the 28 inch table height of the Gidget 2, which has the same machine insert opening dimension as this Harriet cabinet. I ordered a Gidget 2 and will use my custom insert for my Juki machine on that cabinet. It's unfortunate, as I would have enjoyed the table space to the left of the machine with the Harriet cabinet, but the 2 inches extra in height makes it uncomfortable for my neck and shoulders when sewing.

This cabinet is one of the few that is large enough for the Viking Epic and Sewing machines Plus had a great price and even double checked with me about the size of my machine and if verified if I needed an insert.

The cabinet was just the right size. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge at first since a couple of directions weren't clear but my husband and I figured it out. I like the ability to store the sewing machine inside when not in use. The lift is great!
