Like other V2 systems, the V2 Lite uses multi-point temperature verification to ensure that measurements are accurate to within ± 0.5 ºF.Temperature measurements are taken from the forehead region, screens typically take between 2-3 seconds and the system also supports facemask verification. Unique to the V2 Lite is the tri-color LED indicators at the top of the device. These two lights will flash Green or Red depending on the result of the scan.
Infrared thermal detection functions best indoors. The AATSS can be used outdoors, however, no direct sunlight can shine on the device or the face of the person being screened.
