The Grace Continuum Machine Quilting Frame
For over 30 years, the Grace Company has produced some of the finest machine–quilting frames available. Now the Continuum combines some of the most sought after features into a modular system that’s available for quilters of every level and nearly every sewing machine type.
With steel and cast–alloy components, the long arm quilting frame is one of the sturdiest and longest–lasting frames ever designed. This modular frame has many available configurations and accessories. This is a no–baste frame designed to make your quilting projects easier, more convenient, and more beautiful. The long arm quilting frame is available in standard 8 foot or 10 foot sizes.
Grace Continuum Quilting Frame Specifications
The Maximum Quilt Area on a machine frame is the total distance your machine needle can travel from one end of the frame to the other. This measurement may vary slightly depending on your machine. You will be able to quilt an area at least as big as quoted in this maximum quilt area. Rail Diameter: 1 1/2". Maximum Machine Throat Size: 21".

Quilt Frame Features
NO–BASTE QUILTING RAIL SYSTEM
The Continuum Quilting Frame saves you valuable time by eliminating the ordeal of basting. All the quilt layers are attached to their own rails, and then come together and on to the take–up rail as you quilt. Grace frames use locking ratchet ends on the rails to give you precise control over the tension of your fabric layers.
SURETRACK DUAL–WHEEL SYSTEM
This smooth gliding track system enhances stitch quality, accuracy, and carriage motion.
CHANNEL LOCKS
Conveniently lock your machine motion into either back and forth, or side to side motion. Perfect for straight lines.
LEVELING FEET
No matter what floor your frame is on, these feet are an easy way to make sure it's level and balanced.
ADJUSTABLE DEPTH
Adjust the depth of your work area to match your quilting frame. Get closer when working on short–arm quilting machine, or expand your space for larger patterns with a long–arm.
HEIGHT–ADJUSTABLE LEGS
Height–adjustable legs let you work at the level that is most comfortable to you.
HAND–WHEEL
Conveniently roll all the layers of your quilt with the take–up rail hand–wheel. This advances the fabric to the next section of your project for quilting.

2 Foot Extension
Get an extra 2 feet of quilting area out of your Continuum quilting frame with this extension kit. This will work with both the 10 foot frame and the 8 foot frame, extending them to 12 or 10 feet respectively. Extending your quilting frame lets you quilt larger projects. This kit comes with a leg assembly, table, rails, and the hardware necessary to extend your quilting frame.
Idler Rail
This convenient accessory eliminates the need to constantly stop and adjust your take–up rail. The more you quilt, the more space is taken up on the take–up rail in the throat of your machine. This normally means you have to watch your space closely, and adjust the take–up rail higher when the quilt fabric starts rubbing between it and your machine. This idler rail solves that problem by letting the fabric collect on the take up–rail at a higher position, so you don't need worry about adjusting your take–up rail anymore! Note: The idler rail accessory will only work with longarm or midarm quilting machines that have a larger throat space.
Moving Rail (Not Yet Available - Coming Soon)
The Moving Rail Kit lets you expand your quilting reach. This innovative quilting frame add–on for long–arm quilting works like an idler rail that moves back and forth with the motion of your quilting machine. The moving rail adds up to 4–6 inches to your reach, and works to keep your block size consistent. When quilting normally, the layers gather on your take–up rail, taking up space and reducing reach. The moving rail moves this fabric build–up to keep your quilting reach the same throughout the quiting process.
Speed Control and Handles
The Speed Control replaces the foot pedal on a small–arm quilting machine, and lets you adjust the stitching speed with the simple turn of a dial. A convenient on/off button is used start and stop stitching. An top–carriage is also included when you specify that you're purchasing the Continuum frame for use with a short–arm machine. ALSO GREAT WITH A WIDE VARIETY OF OTHER MACHINES
The modular design of the Continuum quilting frame lets you use it with many different quilting machines! The frame has an adjustable depth, so you can change the work–space and quilt comfortably with a long–arm or a domestic short–arm machine. When you order the Continuum frame for use with a short–arm machine, an top–carriage with handles will be provided, as well as a speed–control. Please specify which quilting machine you will be using when you purchase your Continuum frame.
