Now the Continuum II has taken the next step. We’ve taken the bulky ratcheting system and updated it with a fine-tuned sleeker internal structure that’s smaller, simpler than and just as strong as its predecessor. The bar height adjustments are also much simpler and more precise.
The Maximum Quilt Area on a machine frame is the total distance your machine needle can travel from one end of the frame to the other. This measurement may vary slightly depending on your machine. You will be able to quilt an area at least as big as quoted in this maximum quilt area.

The Continuum II Quilting Frame saves you valuable time by eliminating the ordeal of basting. All the quilt layers are attached to their own rails, and then come together and on to the take–up rail as you quilt. Grace frames use locking ratchet ends on the rails to give you precise control over the tension of your fabric layers.
The ratcheting system has been fully integrated into the Continuum II, and has quick-toggle locks for immediate adjustments as needed.

Think you might upgrade your machine to a longarm in the future? The Continuum II frame can work with your short or midarm machine now, and then be adjusted for a longarm when you need it. Add the optional accessories now or later to make your quilting process more convenient.
The batting rail (or fourth rail) accessory is a convenient way to manage and hold your batting layer. Keep your batting organized and off the floor by rolling it on this rail.
This convenient accessory eliminates the need to constantly stop and adjust your take–up rail. The more you quilt, the more space is taken up on the take–up rail in the throat of your machine. This normally means you have to watch your space closely, and adjust the take–up rail higher when the quilt fabric starts rubbing between it and your machine. This idler rail solves that problem by letting the fabric collect on the take up–rail at a higher position, so you don't need worry about adjusting your take–up rail anymore!
Note: The idler rail accessory will only work with longarm or midarm quilting machines that have a larger throat space.
The Speed Control replaces the foot pedal on a small–arm quilting machine, and lets you adjust the stitching speed with the simple turn of a dial. A convenient on/off button is used start and stop stitching. A top–plate with handles is also available for purchase when you specify that you're purchasing the Continuum II frame for use with a short–arm machine. Add a convenient work surface to your Q-Zone Queen or Hoop-Frame with these table inserts! The table inserts are a necessary accessory for quilters wanting to work with pantographs from the back of the frame. These are also needed for use with the Grace Company Plastic Pattern Perfect™ templates.
The modular design of the Continuum II quilting frame lets you use it with many different quilting machines! The frame has an adjustable depth, so you can change the work–space and quilt comfortably with a long–arm or a domestic short–arm machine. When you order the Continuum II frame for use with a short–arm machine, a top–plate with handles is available for purchase, as well as a speed–control.
