I looked at a lot of sewing machine mats online and read a lot of reviews before deciding to get one from Sewing Machines Plus. I even contacted them to find out what the mat is made from.(Neoprene). and I got a response right away. This mat may be a bit more expensive than a mat purchased at say, Amazon, but the quality is so much better.

The largest mat is too short for the entire Janome M17. I’m keeping it however because it will keep the embroidery arm from separating from the machine. It’s a solid thickness that deadens sound and movement.

Although you gave me a 10% refund to rectify the problem, the description in the advert and on the invoice said this was a 1/4 inch thick mat, but what was delivered was a 1/8 inch mat. I was sort of satisfied, but the product was not what was ordered. Essentially I got half the mat for 90% of the cost.

I love the blue mat

The mat itself is fine but the clear plastic tube it came in had the lid completely off exposing it to possible damage. It was only secured with one glue sticker.
