As with the rest of the KAI 5000 series scissors, the KAI 5135 is made of a hardened steel that allows it to keep its edge for longer. It also features a soft-grip handle that helps to reduce fatigue, even over long periods of cutting.
This is the KAI 5135P, a 5 1/2 inch blunt tip scissor that is designed for detailed cutting and for trimming stabilizers away from embroidery designs without damaging fabric. It is also great for trimming and cutting away excess fabric on shadow appliqué.
