The remarkable Madeira Incredible Threadable Embroidery Box holds colors separately and allows the spools to be easily removed and replaced, as each color number is printed in each thread pocket. The built-in threading system (Patent Pending) allows you to run the thread directly from the box to the machine without unpacking. Madeira Lana #12 Embroidery Thread:

Madeira Lana No. 12 is finely spun 50% wool/50% acrylic embroidery thread for computerized embroidery, serging, quilting, bobbin work, free motion embroidery, couching and hand embroidery. Lana has the characteristics and appearance of pure wool and the strength of acrylic. A larger eye size 100/16 needle helps to accommodate the thickness of Lana. And, you can create the unique Lana soft, fluffy look by gently brushing your finished design with a Lana brush. Both items are available in the Madeira Accessories section.
A typical embroidery design contains 6,000 stitches. This means each 220 yard/200 m Smart Spool with its 40,000 stitches per spool will produce 40 designs on average. Madeira Cotona No. 30 is the perfect weight with a beautiful matte finish for machine embroidery, appliqué and decorative top stitching. Quilters love the natural fiber and very high tensile strength for piecing and machine quilting. Using the case as a thread stand

Step One

Pull all colors needed for embroidery design. Place spools in thread chambers in color order, working left to right on each side.

Step Two

Pull each thread up from its chamber and through its corresponding thread guide. For best results thread must feed from the outside of spool.

Step Three

Close the doors and stand up the box on its base to the right of the machine.

Step Four

Grasping all threads at once, clip ends to even using the built-in thread cutters.

Step Five

Thread machine with first color and begin stitching, repeat for each color. Thread should feed from right side of box, up and through guides, and directly into your machine.

Step Six

Rotate box to access second set of chambers on reverse side. Guides can be threaded from both sides if you are using both sides of box.
