Burke's Beauty Template Set

Templates & Fussy Cuts are made to make your cutting easier and more accurate. The no-slip material creates a vacuum seal and locks up to 32 layers of fabric in place. Most people feel comfortable cutting 8-12 layers without sacrificing the accuracy. If you don't cut straight, you're never going to sew straight and you won't have a perfect quilt. Because the material locks your fabric in place, you just need to lay the template on your fabric and turn to make your cuts. No more measure-cut, measure-cut, measure-cut, etc. The templates, like the rulers, are cut on a laser machine, so we know they were made with 100% accuracy.

• This template set was designed by our resident jack of all trades, Gail Burke. The templates create a unique base unit for constructing a quilt.
• The number etched into each template piece indicates the sewing order. Be sure to cut the odd angles (dog ears) at most of the corners. They'll help with alignment. (Piece 4 is the only one without dog ears. Just align the square end.)
• The whole unit can be flipped by starting with piece two on the left side of piece one. just be sure to cut your fabric form the wrong side since the shapes are driectional.
• The unit measures 8.5"x5.5", unfinished.
