Kai N5230 9 Inch Bent Handle Sewing Scissors with Blade Cap (Available in Multiple Colors)
The Kai 5230 , 9-inch bent handle scissor has an ergonomically soft handle which allows for fatigue-free cutting on all types of fabric. It cuts multiple layers of denim with ease while trimming cottons without fabric slippage.
It also features a tailoring bend for stand-up pattern cutting and for trimming batting from quilts. The bent handle keeps the edge of the quilt flat on the table for accurate trimming.
The KAI V5230P is a 9" bent handled scissor with a blunt nose to prevent snagging on or poking through batting. The perfect bend for stand-up pattern cutting and trimming batting from quilts. The bent handle keeps the edge of the quilt flat on the table for accurate trimming. A full blade cap is included.
As with all of the Kai 5000 Series scissors, the Kai 5230's are made of a hardened stainless steel. The smooth, sharp blades gives these Kai scissors an amazing smoothness in cut and feel.
The KAI 5230T - 9" bent handle scissor has a special Teflon™ coating that has been bonded to the stainless-steel blade. This coating makes these shears ideal for applications where a non-stick surface is desired, such as in cutting adhesives. Additionally, the KAI 5230T features a tailoring bend along the handle. This reduces the pressure on the thumb, providing a more natural, efficient, and fatigue-free method for cutting away material.
