Rear Attachment Embroidery Arm
By attaching the embroidery arm behind the machine, rather than to the side, these machines maintain a small footprint. Quickly swing the carriage arm open with the push of a lever, and you are set for embroidery. The embroidery unit is fully incorporated with your machine for easy carrying, travel and storage.
On-Screen Embroidery Editing
Resize, rotate, flip or change the thread colors easily on the 3.5” touchscreen. You can even make more advanced designs by duplicating, combining patterns and lettering, monogramming in an arc and more! You’ll be impressed with how much customizing you can do right on your machine.
Hooping Made Easy
Hooping fabric can be a workout—but not with the new Easy Hoop Tightening System! Center your fabric and insert the inner hoop with the lever fully released. Push the lever about halfway to tighten the hoop enough to make final adjustments, and push the rest of the way to tighten fully.
Free Arm Embroidery
Some things have been considered “impossible” to embroider on most home embroidery machines – baby onesies, jacket cuffs, pant legs, or tubular projects. You’d need to waste time opening seams to lay the item flat, and close them up again afterwards. The optional Free Arm embroidery hoops are a game changer. By allowing the garment to slide around the free arm, you can easily embroider most tight spaces or finished projects.
Optical Bobbin Thread Monitoring
There’s no feeling worse than watching top threads unravel once a bobbin has run out. The Optical Bobbin Sensor uses light to monitor the thread on your bobbin and will stop sewing or embroidering. It will alert you when the thread gets low so that you can wind a new bobbin before you run out!

The Superior Needle Threader 2 offers easy and precise threading every time. Simply guide your threads through the path, pull down and release the lever to send your thread directly through the eye of the needle.

Magnetic Needle Plate
To change your needle plate from zigzag to straight stitch, place your included screwdriver in the notch on the front of the needle plate and pull up with slight pressure. The magnetic hold will release, and you can change plates without unscrewing!

When you select any of the 300 built-in stitches on the Memory Craft 1000, the machine will automatically load in recommended presets for that stitch and recommend the best presser foot to use. Experiment with new stitches with the confidence that they will come out beautifully!
