Pet odor and hair does not stand a chance with the new Retriever Pet vacuum in town. Retriever is the perfect companion for pet owners, with granulated charcoal & HEPA media filters to trap hair, dander & odors and the Fur Get It tool for removing pet hair from upholstery and stairs. The Retriever boast a host of great features, including Tandem Air cleaning technology, durability of metal components in high-wear areas, on-board tools and a one-pound canister of pet formula dry carpet cleaner. You will also get Riccar's 7-year manufacturer's warranty and Red Carpet Service plan.
All uprights on the market use either a bypass design motor or a direct air design motor. A bypass design motor provides superior tool suction, but only adequate floor suction. A direct air motor provides superior floor suction and hardly any tool suction. So which is better? An upright that uses both! Riccar uprights using Tandem Air Technology have a direct air motor at the surface for superior floor cleaning AND a bypass design motor up top for outstanding tool suction.
