Step Up / Down Transformer 500W (ST-500)

This is the ST-500 Step Up/Step Down Transformer. This transformer can handle up to 500 watts of power, converting 110 to 120 VAC-rated appliances for use on 220 to 240 VAC power grids or converting 220 to 240 VAC-rated appliances for use on 110 to 120 VAC power grids. Each of the high-capacity sockets are shockproof and built to last. A pair of spare fuses, as well as a flat pin adapter plug, are included.

Before you order a voltage converting transformer be sure that it is rated for more current ( in Amps or Watts) than the product you plan on using it with draws. These transformers list their maximum current in watts. Your product may list the current it draws in Amps. To find the apx. watts multiply the amps times the volts. So if your product is a 115 VAC device that draws 1.6A you would need a transformer rated 184 Watts or higher.
