How to install a ruler foot on a Bernina Machine
Domestic Quilting Ruler Foot allows you to free motion quilt on any domestic sewing machine with the included template - or try the Introductory Ruler Template Set. This foot makes the impossible possible on any domestic sewing machine. The style of foot you need depends on your machine - there are various sizes of shank to match up with the 3500+ different machines on the market today. See the chart below to match your machine make & model to the correct size shank and choose your size in the dropdown before checkout.
If you do not know which shank your machine has, all you need to do is lower your foot & then measure the height from the needle plate to the center of the hole for the screw. We now offer 4 Different Foot styles and 2 different thickness of templates for Domestic sewing machines based on shank height. Please match your sewing machine make & model to the proper size shank in the chart below to ensure you get the correct foot.

FAQs
To determine your size, all you need to do is lower your foot and then measure the height of the different thickness of templates for Domestic machines based on shank height. The "½" refers to the diameter of the foot. This results in a stitch line that is always a ¼" from the needle.
